Local Focus
Local farmers and producers are integral to what we do at Extra Virgin Oven. The relationships we’ve built with our local community give us a greater appreciation of the ingredients we use – and ultimately produce fresher, more delicious food for you.
At least once a week, we venture out to the local farms to hand select ingredients. Why? Because these farmers are our friends, and carefully choosing our ingredients has always been one of our favorite parts of cooking.
By eating food that’s produced locally, you’re doing more than just supporting local businesses. You’re saving energy by traveling less. You’re reducing your carbon footprint. You’re energizing your local economy. And more importantly, you’re eating food that’s at its peak of freshness. So for those who wonder why we take the time to ride out to the farms, we smile and ask you to taste the difference. We encourage you to ask us about our local producers – and get to know them for yourself.
